Backing onto the Playacar Golf course, Villa Balam is located in the upscale gated and secure community of Playacar in Playa del Carmen. Villa Balam is an 1800-square foot, 3-storey, privately owned villa in the Villas de Santa Fe complex. Air-conditioned with 3 bedrooms, 3 and 1/2 baths, this property is tastefully decorated in a blend of contemporary and Mexican décor. Ideally located, this villa is just minutes from the white sand beaches of the Mayan Riviera, Playacar Spa, tennis courts, and the Playacar Aviary, where you can walk among the many species of tropical birds. Villa Balam is also located just 5-minutes from the famous 5th Avenue, upscale local shops, cafes and restaurants, and ferry to the Island of Cozumel. It is quickly apparent that you can walk everywhere you want to go from Villa Balam and for those that have a vehicle, you will have private and secure off-street parking, right outside the backdoor.

Spacious and Equipped with All the Comforts of Home On the first floor, you will find a sun-filled open concept living area, complete with a fully equipped kitchen and breakfast bar, dining area, 2 bathrooms, and a conveniently located laundry room with washer and dryer. You will also find an office with a MAC mini computer, flat screen monitor, and high speed internet. For scuba divers, we have a secure, seperate gear storage and washroom complete with shower. The stairway leads you to the second floor, which includes 2 bedrooms. In the first bedroom you will find a queen size bed and glass doors to a Romeo & Juliet balcony, the other bedroom with 2 twin beds. Each bedroom has a television, ample built-in closet space, and beautiful linens and window coverings. There is also a full bath on this 2nd level.

On the 3rd level of the villa, you will find the private and spacious Master suite. The Master suite is complete with a King-size bed, beautiful linens, vaulted beamed ceilings, cable television, built-in wardrobes, full en-suite bath, and sliding glass doors to the private rooftop terrace. Enjoy a cup of coffee, or a glass of wine while relaxing in this remarkable hideaway.

Beautiful Gardens, Large swimming Pool and Resort Benefits Available. The pathway leads you past a large water fountain and through wonderfully manicured gardens. Your glass patio doors are only steps away from the large private swimming pool, complete with lounge chairs and a shaded palapas (thatch covered) area where you can read a good book while watching golfers on the Robert von Hagge Championship Golf course.

As a bonus for our guests, we make available our Playacar VIP Guest Card, which allows you access to the oceanfront Reef Club Resort Hotel, which is located just across the street from Villa Balam. At the Reef Club Resort, you may take advantage of the free use of beach or poolside lounge chairs, hammocks, swimming pools, and beach towels. You may also opt for either the half day or full day all-inclusive discounted packages, which entitle you to meals, snacks, beverages, entertainment, and all non-­motorized water sport activities. Please confirm all prices at the hotel and/or golf course.

Maid service is included 3 days a week at Villa Balam, and in case of an emergency or local questions, a bilingual property manager is available. Transportation to and from the Cancun International Airport is available on request for an additional fee.
